Sole director Stefano Albieri has decided to face this test with great courage to create a new type of production: bars and tubes made of carbon fibre. This new Black line is manufactured using carbon, expressing the elegance and strategy of this innovative product.
The bars and tubes are of commercial length, i.e. 1 or 2 metres, ground in tolerance. This is not only a challenge, but also a new reality for this company, confirming its leadership position both regionally and nationally. The bars come in diameters from 5 to 32 millimetres, tolerated on the outer diameter, and lengths of 1 to 2 metres. The tubes will have commercial diameters, the same tolerances, and the same lengths as the bars.
Mr. Albieri strongly supports this new production of bars and tubes. He is a firm believer in the innovative products presented by Cfg Srl. “The many properties of the carbon bars and tubes of the Black range, ground in tolerance, can be interesting for the market,” says Stefano Albieri, “The most important are their extreme lightness, high elastic modulus, resistance to dynamic stress and vibrations, as well as corrosion and wear resistance. Plus, they have a limited friction coefficient.”
Cfg Srl is the sole company producing chromes bars to have accepted and taken this step towards innovation and the future. Carbon bars and tubes can be used in a variety of sectors from electric cars and drones to wind parks. The goal is to replace today’s steel pistons and cylinders in applications requiring lightness, resistance and high corrosion resistance.
